Goodbye, Farina. 

Love of my life. 
Wonder Woman – or rather Wonder Mare. 
Unquestioned love. 
Pretty little lamb and nevertheless a witch at times. 
The sweetest donkey. 
Dream of all vets (lovely to treat and soooo much money to make). 
Life-saver in many ways. She made me want to live on despite those dark hours.
My longest relationship.
Ticklish at her belly. 
Utterly annoyed by insects. 
Any kid could ride her. 
She would have never let hurt come to me if she could avoid it. 
Countless hours together, filled with joy (and also pain and suffering when she wasn't well). 

My biggest decision and greatest pain on having to let her go. 
Life without Farina is unimaginable. 
I know, though, that I spared her suffering and that it was the right time. I hope it wasn't too late.
