Curtains down

It's much brighter in the garden room.  Looks a little bare, but that will eventually be remedied.  Nice to be able to enjoy these wall hangings - they came from South Africa with W and I love them.

But soooo noticeable how grubby it is.  I did vacuum and dust after we'd taken the curtains down, but can't do much about the ingrained dirt in the paintwork - which is a rather dingy fawn colour.  Definitely high on the priority list for repainting, since we spend much of our leisure time in here.  

I advertised the curtains and poles on Trash Nothing - an Irish version of Freecycle - and had a taker within 10 minutes!
