In this photo of a Common Stork’s-bill (Erodium cicutarium) it is not easy to see the seed pods which are shaped like the bill of a stork, giving its name. When the seeds are ripe the pods explode sending the seeds flying. Somes plants had white flowers but normally they are pink. It is low growing and likes grasslands and coastal areas where this was.
