In the Breeze

Yep, the wind is blowing. Just check out the strap on my hiking stick! And yep, it's as cold as it looks. This shot was snapped about 7 pm, at about 11,440 feet in elevation, at about 35 degrees, and the wind is gusting to about 40 mph.

Talk about clearing out the cobwebs!

And yet,we spied little tundra flowers beginning to bloom under these harsh conditions.

We'll come back here to this trail; it's one of my favorites.
