Floating Ant Day

It looked like flying ant day from the kitchen window earlier. Little midges everywhere. Even the pool had a load of floating dead flies in the shallow end. The lifeguard said they couldn’t believe how many there were today and the midges were attracted to the lifeguards’ yellow shirts too. Hopefully today was a one off.

Enjoyed a lovely 40 min swim. Only six of us in the pool to start with, then down to two then just me the last 10 minutes.
