9 days and counting

There is something very beautiful about the promise of new life. I certainly felt that way in the months before my grandsons where born, and before my daughters were born (although I do not remember that so clearly any more) . There are some societies where pregnant women go into seclusion, but I think the female form about to give birth is really one of those temporal art expressions which is really quite attractive. This young lady is about to give birth to her first child, a daughter, in just over a week. I was pleased that she was willing to pose for me - well, lean way back in an uncomfortable restaurant chair.
