Markings

I had the day off so 15yo and I had a walk out to Sconce. 

Even sticking to the main paths the bracken is quite a barrier to progress at the moment, and the ground was very wet from the previous day’s downpours.

Out by the cabins there was a small herd of cattle in the rough pasture usually known as the Barn Owl Field. The markings were quite distinctive but I’m not sure of the breed - Ayrshire, Shorthorn or Irish Speckle are some of the possibilities.  There were no owls about.
