Recharging our batteries!

We were lulled to sleep last night by the gentle rocking of our boat and woke to the surprisingly soothing sound of heavy rain on the bamboo roof - much nicer than my screeching alarm clock!

The rain didn’t last long and we enjoyed one last, sunny sail around the lake while we had breakfast, then it was a short drive to our final hotel.

We just stayed at our hotel today, spending some time in the pool and, after a light afternoon tea, we explored the gardens, helped feed their fish and geese, flew kites and watched a dance show before dinner.

A very welcome, relaxing penultimate day of our holiday!
