Hedge Sparrow?

A sparrow, certainly. A female house sparrow. The hedge sparrow, or dunnock, is simply mis-named. This one was sat in a hedge, so let's allow the name and have a titter for the title. Whatever has she been eating? I'll say Janet's raspberries...

I'd gone out for a very friendly and very brightly coloured (for summer) robin, who'd been hopping back and forth in the back garden while we had lunch. Of course, by the time I'd got the cameras ready they'd gone!

A quiet day - well, you know, quiet in the not done very much sense but I've managed to begin playing a few minutes on the bass guitar now that the post-shingles pain has gone and the damaged nerves have come back to life.
