BUSY BEES IN THE GARDEN
It was lovely to go out into the garden this morning - albeit with some difficulty - and with Mr. HCB walking along behind me - and to see the bees busy on the Cosmos flowers. Moving along the flower bed, I saw and heard many more bees on the Dahlias that Mr. HCB grew from seed so took quite a few shots and decided to make them into a collage for Flower Friday.
At the other end of our “No Mow Until September” lawn, there are quite a few of these fungi - which could be “Aleuria aurantia (orange peel fungus)” but I’m sure Nicoiseanne will know!
Just had a call from The Circle at Reading to ask about booking in for my knee operation - so I told the lady that I could not even think about that at the moment because of my impending back surgery! She will give me a call in a few weeks to see how things are.
Apologies for not commenting much last night - I felt a bit “down in the dumps” as my Mum used to say - but I did have a lot on my mind and there was a lot to read on all the leaflets. Thank you for all your comments, stars and hearts though, which are very much appreciated.
