Broad-leaved Helleborines

Another damp day spent report writing...

By evening the skies had cleared a bit, and as I was getting stir crazy I nipped out for a post dinner walk at Bedford Purlieus to see if the Broad-leaved Helleborines were flowering. 

They hadn't made as much progress as I expected, but several plants had blooms, including this very well-coloured one. I suspect it was a bit mad to try and photograph them at dusk on a breezy day...
