It's been a good year for the roses.......

Not raining. What's going on ?
Did my cattle,collected Littlemiss and headed next door to go round wee brother's as he's away until this afternoon. Got her to drive the land rover for a bit of practice.
Headed back for 9.30 as she has pipe band practice again at school,(even though she's now officially left school).
Turned around and back to finish my rounds next door. Another cow just calved. On its feet, thinking about finding a tit,so left them well alone as mummy looks a bit protective !
Headed off down the road to feed all the heifers, then back just in time for Roy ,the foot trimmer turning up.
Had them all done by 3pm,despite most of them not wanting to go into the crush as they are all repeat offenders.
Wee brother back by then,so walked them back up to their field.
These dog roses are all along the farm roadside hedge. They brighten the place up,but are really a weed in our nice beech hedge,but necessary when it was planted to get the grant.
