Blured

This past couple of days I have been thinking of the concept of speed and how to illustrate it.  Obviously using a slow shutter speed will introduce blur which may indeed suggest something moving fast.  I sat on a bench at the local war memorial which is beside a roundabout with the idea of photographing cars passing by using 1/30 second shutter speed.  This is exactly what I was doing when around 60 of motorcycles in convoy passed by.  They were not travelling fast as they were negotiating a roundabout, but I hope my slow shutter speed will suggest otherwise!
