Royal Military Academy Sandhurst: Sounding Retreat
I was the guest of a friend at the Sounding Retreat at RMAS Sandhurst performed for the Sandhurst Trust. It was a wonderful evening.
The first Blip is of the RMAS Commandant, Major General Zac Stenning taking the salute from Senior Bugle Major Aaron Keely, with the "Mutton Chops" required of Rifles Bugle Majors.
The second blip is of one of two cannon outside the building that were at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.
The third blip is the band marching. How they were able to play and march in the most intricate way was amazing.
The fourth blip is of guests on the steps and the final blip is a painting of Queen Elizabeth II with members of her family at Sandhurst. A wonderful day!
