At midnight called 111, in acute pain, told to go to A&E, explained why I couldn’t, was told a clinician would call to advise, got 3hrs sleep, paramedic eventually phoned at 7.30am, saw out of hours doc at 10am, more meds prescribed and told to rest.

Cold wet and windy day. Discovered water leaking from spare bedroom ceiling in three places. Called insurance company, still waiting for news on emergency roof repair. Dad snapped tooth in half eating breakfast, need to make emergency dentist appointment. Tried to rest...
