Icing on the .....

A grand day. 

Arclight and I made our way to Shandwick Bay after breakfast where we partook in yoga on the beach followed by a swim* and then hot drinks and cakes. 

The yoga was quite special - something rather special about listening to waves whilst doing our breathing and poses. 

The swim was fun - bobbing in waves and we were joined a gulliemot who was diving around us  

The cakes were to raise funds to enhance beach area. 

Everyone was very friendly. A lovely morning with Shandwick Bay Sea Swimmers.

We went for a walk around Tain and a coffee after lunch, passing the street where one of my great great grandmothers was born.

Later on we headed to Tarbat Ness to see the lighthouse and walk around. We managed to spot Dunrobin Castle across the Dornoch Firth. 

We then drove through a couple of fishing villages before heading to Inver Inn for our (very good) evening meal. 

Now enjoying a glass of wine. A grand day in Ross & Cromarty.
