Unexpected failure

I turned on the kitchen tap and got sprayed from a developing crack in the moveable spout....... presumably it’s the sort of thing that has to manifest itself sometime (I couldn’t really blame it on the cat) so this is a photo of the reassembly having dismantled the spout and (hopefully) soldered the crack..... no drips or squirts as yet!
