5th of August 1899

My great grandmother wrote to her sister in Sweden that den 5te Augusti 99, kom det till oss en "liten gosse" efter en lång och svår vedermöda för den unga mamman, som dagen efteråt, eller den 6 fyllde 21 år.  On the 5th of August arrived to us a little boy, and on the following day, the 6th the young mother turned 21.
These days were always celebrated in the family and when I had just retired I learned the HTML code and opened a web site for my father on his 100th birthday.

There are pictures taken in the summers on his birthday, but I have lost so many old photographs over the years.
