Spider heaven, fly tomb!

This amazing window in our rented cottage has a tiny gap in the top of the glass where flies and woodlice crawl in and get trapped by this spider family, who have probably ruled the roost here for decades. The thick layer of web, prey mummies and past generations of spiders is amazing! This counts as an interesting rather than cute blip!!!
