everything!!!

Oh will the sunshine ever return?!  This is getting beyond a joke now! One tiny plus of all this rain is not having to water the new plants every day, but it would be lovely to have one or two days of sunshine!

On the way to Cromlix last night I had an impromptu conversation with my pal Agnes so she and Adrian are coming up for dinner tomorrow evening.  We realised it's the last time we'll see each other till Emily's wedding (their daughter) on the 18th!  

Thankfully dinner was simple.  A veggie Korma chucked into the slow cooker at 1pm, cooked to perfection by 7pm, followed by a delicious sticky toffee pudding with custard for some, and Scottish tablet ice cream for others :-)

A great night with Agnes and Adrian, with Adrian telling us all about Sam's stag weekend in Liverpool (the same time as the Hen's were celebrating in Aberfeldy :-) Some hilarious tales!

Lots of discussion about the wedding too.  Agnes now has her dress back from the seamstress and it fits, so she is very relieved.  She tried her entire outfit on yesterday and is happy with it, especially as she's managed to get shoes that are comfortable.  She showed me a photo of her in her outfit and got so emotional.  I am going to be in bits for every second of this wedding ceremony.  Note to self - buy waterproof mascara!
