Luxury.

A day of exploring. A chance to look at the flora and fauna of the Cairngorm by just wandering on paths as they came along with the intention of getting to the Ruigh Aiteachain Bothy for a late lunch. Lots of flowers and plants making the best of the better weather but a lack of insects, especially butterflies. Perhaps the recent snow had put them back again.
The bothy was in great condition but I'm not sure how long that will last. They are building a new track into the area and this might make it a little to accessible for people.
I suppose I shouldn't be so elitist but I have seen other bothy's go down hill quickly when accesses becomes easy.
This one had a rather splendid outhouse though and would make life a little easier going to the loo in poor weather.
