Woke up to pouring rain. Went to Foodbank and then straight to supermarket. Dropped the shopping off at home and then went up to the Avenue to see Su at the makers market. It was still raining and she was wet and cold (poor choice of clothing!) - happy though as she had sold a good few items. Stayed with her for a while , had lunch from one of the street stalls and went home -still raining. Got changed into dry , warm clothes, had a cup of tea and then cleaned the downstairs rooms. Did a couple other tasks and then Su arrived. Had a nice early evening, catch- up and supper then she went home and I walked up to JS’s to go to the fireworks display on the Trent . I do love fireworks!! We walked along theTrent .for a while to the pedestrian bridge but it was closed. Waited for about 10 minutes and we were finally allowed on and walked back through town home. Got in at 11.30- late for me!
