Hobbs's Run

Into the Kanimbla

In most highland areas around the world, towns and villages grew up in the valleys. In the Blue Mountains, development took place along the ridges instead. This left the valleys to be reserved as national parkland or for small scale farms.

Recently I have illustrated views into the Grose, Megalong and Jamison Valleys. Today, from a vantage point in west Blackheath, we catch a glimpse into the pretty Kanimbla Valley.

I think this badly needs to be viewed against a dark background in LARGE.
