Web sight

On this day, 6 August 1991, the first web page was seen.

It was dedicated to information on the World Wide Web project and was made by Tim Berners-Lee.

He was working at CERN (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire) at the time and it was available on their server.

My photograph symbolises the web and all its complexity.
An incredible tool which benefits us to such an amazing extent but carries with it dangers too, as the demise of this unfortunate hover fly demonstrates
