Common Darter

A rather relaxed Sunday where we spent a fair bit of time just chilling with plenty of sport on TV . Some women's world cup football which saw Sweden beat the USA and then some enjoyable Rugby League Leeds V Leigh followed by Halifax V Featherston .
In between some of the sport we took advantage of the nice DRY weather and went for a walk along the Cycle track by the river enjoying some sun there was a fairly strong breeze at times . Quite a few butterflies and dragonflies  including this common Darter sat enjoying the sun love the capture of the glistening wings . This is a male I have included an extra of the female 
Time to think about a late tea a walk to McDonalds is possibly on the cards and then a chilled out evening
