Top 'n Tail

A Jersey Tiger Moth obligingly positioned itself on a pane of conservatory glass providing the opportunity for top and bottom images. Sadly it didn't open its wings to reveal the striking scarlet colour underneath, but at least the undercarriage was revealed. Apparently the species is now becoming established in SW England.
