Mystery Caterpillar

Another day, another shift at the Butterfly House and it was a morning of two halves. Torrential rain for the first hour, then it brightened up a tad, more rain and then the sun came out for the last hour. 
This caterpillar is a bit of a mystery and there are quite a few of them plus some pupae already waiting to hatch. None of us know which species it is and it will probably remain a mystery unless one of us sees one hatching. 

After lunch I did some tidying up and deadheading in the garden before my Mum and Brother and niece came around for dinner. We've spent some time going over the final details for our family holiday and watching the netball and cycling.
