We were planning to have a walk with Cosmo at Castle Fraser this morning. Cosmo’s lady-in-waiting is due back this afternoon. As we approached the. Castle we realised we were in amongst an unusually large number of cars. When we got to the approach road it became apparent there was a car show at the Castle..

We abandoned Castle Fraser and headed over to Banchory. Our walk in Banchory took us past the Banchory Lodge Hotel. It was about coffee time so it seemed too good a chance to miss.

We had a pleasant stop at the Lodge, probably about 45 minutes. The photo shows the outside seating area. It was a little cool, but tolerable. The hut in the picture is the BBQ area. There was a super aroma coming from it. Both Cosmo and myself thought we better leave before we were tempted to have a burger or similar delicacy.

I took a picture of the “Scullery” with the flowers in foreground. I notice Cosmo has also crept into the picture on the far right.
