Rescue

The wonderful John and Carol came to rescue the fish, he said it was a totally inappropriate pond for the size of fish.

He took the first three home and Lu managed to catch the Koi and goldfish whilst he was gone.

He kindly offered to pay Lu for the fish, she wouldn’t accept anything as we are just grateful they will hopefully now have the life and space they deserve.

I spent the afternoon tidying the back garden, nine big bags later. I think I took out my anger on the weeds, vines and brambles.

Had the occasional look in the pond to check no one was left behind.
