Cobwebs in the morning dew

I took advantage of the first sunny morning in ages to go for an early morning walk. The sunlight shimmering in this web was eye catching but also a reminder that the autumn webs are beginning to spread in.
A morning of home admin followed by a four hour voluntary shift in town. The thunder and torrential rain were an unwelcome surprise. A recently bereaved friend called in to see us this early evening.
