The Lot and a little bit of my bike!
The weather gets better and better. The terrain changes daily and I'm feeling much calmer now. The vet report is that it may be a liver infection and if so the antibiotics will help. If not there is nothing they can do. And we think we have found a way for me to finish most if the bike tour and get to a station or airport and get back to the UK to have some days with my son and Ronnie who has been eating. Then I return to Paris to do a TEDx talk in French. I've been rehearsing this every day as we cycle as this kind of French is not familiar to me. I'm used to talking gardens and chainsaws and the like!
We are in the heart of France here - Maquis territory - so a lot of war and resistance history. Memorials at the spots that locals were shot. A memorial where many English parachuted into these remote parts of France. So overall quite an emotional time. And stunning scenery.
