The forest floor.

A much better day, no rain and some sunny intervals but the wind was a little chilly.

We went for a walk in The Beechwoods Nature Reserve near Cambridge. The wet weather seems to have brought out the fungi earlier than usual (I think) and there were hundreds of these all over the reserve. I should say would have been as they had been smashed and broken by (I guess) kids with sticks.
