I headed out for a 17 km ride on the old mountain bike this morning down to St Asaph, along the Denbigh road to Trefnant and then back home to Tremeirchion.

After lunch, we visited another NGS open garden at Gilfach, Rowen, Conwy.  A one-acre country garden on south facing slope with magnificent views of the River Conwy and mountains; set in 35 acres of farm and woodland. We sampled the tea and cake on offer. All proceeds go to charity.

On the way back home we stopped off at Conwy to explore the walled town and quayside.
