No Smiley Face!

While visiting the Isle of Lewis we also took the opportunity to visit the stone circle at Callanish. Pat had been here several years ago and was astonished at the number of people on the site.

Historic Environment has created a new visitor centre which is comprehensive and understandable.

The main entry shows ‘a naturally face’ in the rock surface.

We then returned to Stornaway and enjoyed walking around this interesting capital of the Island.

There is great emphasis on the various arts and speciality shopping. 

We enjoyed our visit.
