Dog is in heaven with us in the camper by the beach . He loves me lots, as demonstrated . Keeps my gut bacteria healthy !

Drive to Loch Lomond - Basil had a happy howl and great time, see extra , then given an excellent camp stop tip by another campervan man. What a fabulous gift it turned out to be. Tiny wee village of Ardentinney with camping on the beach shoreline for £7, small waterfall babbling beside us and looking out across Loch Long on a warm summer eve. Mike and Basil were in for the first swim of the holiday , apparently it was a very cool water temp but a great buzz .
Only a few other campers and the pub a mile away along a beautiful loch side lane . The pub had just stopped serving food when we got there at 6.55pm ! So we had a G&T , chatted with other mad dog people and went home to rustle up another curry - different and delicious . Midges not good for a while outside but once we were settled in camper with the midge zapper we were undisturbed .
