3144. St. Andrews

We took a bus trip to St. Andrews today and took a packed lunch with us.  The weather was reasonable and we sat by the harbour to eat our wraps.  It was two buses and took about the same time as driving, plus the bus travel was free!  Parking in St. Andrews can be a complete nightmare so getting the bus is a great option.

We’ve decided to take a trip to the Dundee Botanic Gardens next week, again on the bus but it’s not such a great service as it takes an hour to go 22 miles!

Back home now having a wee rest and a cuppa….
