Another Brixham Mural

Not sure what this is about. I like it.
Jacqui was on conservation duty at Clennon Valley Lakes so I caught an early bus to Brixham and walked up to Berry Head, then back to Brixham. We have walked with our walking group quite a bit lately so I have listened to advice about belt tightening and saving money from fellow septuagenarians. So, I went through the dark doors of Vigilance, the Brixham Wetherspoons, to use their facilities and have a bottomless coffee for £1.50. Nothing wrong with it. The idea is to treat Wetherspoons as an adjunct of your own house and enjoy as many hot drinks as you like. There was a poem at last weeks poetry night about a fabled Wetherspoons with a settee in the ladies loo which enables sofa surfing, and even longer term occupation.
I couldn’t linger, the day was too nice, and I walked home with an unexpected stop and an hour long tour and talk about the Brixham battery in WW2. Fascinating tunnels and accommodation for the men on gun duty. See extra. The Green paint was always at the bottom of the wall so if you passed out in an explosion you would know if you were upside down or not when you came to. To get out you followed the black line.
