Still

Did a fairly long stint at the allotment and even got quite warm - should have taken my sun hat!! Several pretty butterflies around but the only creature that sat still long enough for me to get my camera out was this wee hoverfly on some weed or other!

Had a long chat with an allotment neighbour who's got stage 3 or 4 cancer - after a massive amount of chemo last year, he's recently had various scans and further biopsies and goes in tomorrow to hear what the prognosis is. Fingers, toes and everything else crossed for him.
