York

The 9.30 bus boat was all booked up (presumably by the Naburn Lock caravanners) so we booked a return for later on and took the actual bus instead. A very pleasant day in in York we had too, despite the near-constant spectre of rain and the fact that the Shambles seems to have been replaced by a very long queue for the Harry Potter shop. We swerved that and went instead for tea and parkin in Bennett's cafe by the Minster, a look round the Art Gallery, pasta and a circuit of the Walls before the aforementioned boat ride home...
