First day of the holiday and stayed around Topsham for it. The house had a telescope to watch the birdlife on the river, Trains ran the other side of the river to and from Cornwall. Eggs and tomatoes on sourdough to start the day. A wander or two. Some reading  of my book on Roger Deakin, which is excellent. A rather nice NZ red from Vidal.
