All quiet

This bee was too quiet; still rather than feeding. A concern as there were three dead bees on my walk yesterday and the flowers are humless. The long stretch of wet weather has probably impacted them, so we’ll see as the week warms up if there is more activity. There is a foulbrood outbreak near Haddington which will have reduced the honey bee numbers, but doesn’t affect solitary bees as far as I know.
