DDW June Challenge - Sport

Day 4

I'm not sure if Chess is a sport? But I knew that this was the nearest to a sport I would find today.

This morning I was due at The Hospice for my induction and training for my role as Ward Clerk, on The In Patients Unit. I will be starting on Sunday, and then my regular day will be a Saturday. I'm really looking forwad to it. Everyone was so lovely, so friendly, so helpful, especially Pauline, who's been a volunteer there for 5 years.

I headed to Leeds town centre afterwards in the hope the chess players were out. They were!
