Festival

Another day at the Festival
Started with The Speigeltent and Best of the Fest which hopefully was not strictly the truth. The compère was the best, French and tres drôle, a Rochdale comedian nurse, very foonee, an African dance troop, some stomach churning very bendy stuff… then a duff Ozzie and a dreadful drag act. Bathos at its worse.
Onward for a wander but got lured into McEwen Hall to see Tutu. Six French guys with their take on ballet. Again started strong and then went a tad weird. Damn, has to leave early ( phew) to the best of the day, 80s Hypnotist at Gilded Balloon. Fantastic. Proper silly belly laugh fun.
By six we were starving and had scouted the food stalls at George Square. I went for a falafel and halloumi wrap, N for a poké bowl. Both tremendous
Last show, Billy Joel songbook. Great set, four talented lads that did justice to the great man himself.
Cream crackered by the time we got home, 23,000 steps later.
Exam results in the morning, eeeeeeek
