Oscar …

Day didn’t start good, Oscar wouldn’t eat his breakfast (chicken and rice). I even put his tablets in some raw chicken - ate the chicken and spat out the tablet. Eventually had to put the tablets manually down his throat.

Popped the supermarket - I always give them a treat as I’m leaving, Oscar’s was still there when I got back. Tried to entice at lunchtime with his breakfast, not interested. Tried at good, no good.

Visited the vets this afternoon. She checked him over, no indication of why he isn’t eating, took a scan of his tummy area, no problems. Eventually we agreed that he may be eating Ashe feels sick so gave him an anti-sickness injection.

Stopped off at our daughters on the way home to fill her in (Oscar is her dog). The vet had said that they may need to have a conversation with her about his quality of life ….. She managed to encourage him to have some ham, and I came home with some for him.

No further food consumed … he just looks so sad, ears back, tail under and not settling.
