Zoey

Zoey is a Kelpie x Border Collie. She's always been a nervous nellie. I had been pre-warned that I would need to take our photo shoot VERY slowly, so spent the first 30 minutes sitting on the floor, letting her do her thing. Lots of very loud barking in my face and then, slowly, she began to trust me. Her owner, Dee, has done an amazing job with this beautiful girl.

We ended up having a fantastic shoot. Zoey was relaxed and happy and we got a lot of great shots. 

The best part, though, was how privileged I felt to have gained this gorgeous dog's trust. By the end, she was sitting on my lap and licking my face; just happy and relaxed. 

This is what makes what I do so enjoyable.
