Bougainvillia (again)

I must have blipped this over and over again. I love these vivid petals (brachts?) that float gently down to the internal patio below - in fact that's what made me fall in love with this house, so many years ago. Nowadays I'm still in love with the house but I have a more realistic relationship with the bougainvillia, which grows a mile a minute and had very nasty spikes which cut you to pieces when you cut it all back - at the moment, it's still a bit under control and lovely.
