Holly Blue...

I had a look at twitter this morning & there were 12 spoonbills at Old Moor. Off I went to see them. They were mostly asleep but moved occasionally & lovely to see. I had a lovely day - once I'd walked away from the very noisy visitor centre & surroundings - full of families enjoying their day. I'm sure they had a great time, but I prefer peace & quiet on a nature reserve! 

Also at OM was a bittern, marsh harrier, 3 great white egrets, herons, little egrets, kingfisher, goldfinches & butterflies. 

My blip is a lovely holly blue on what I think is pink phlox - lovely fragrance came from it.
