Bush-whacked!

M has long been keen for me to recreate Kate Bush’s ‘Hounds Of Love’ (1985) www.katebush.com/image/hounds-love-album-cover as part of my occasional album cover tribute series, but the technical challenges of pulling this off as a self-portrait proved too daunting! However, it’s M’s birthday today so it seemed the perfect opportunity to cede the limelight to her.

She’s generally been doing a lot better on her current chemo regime. It isn’t as brutal as her original treatment but is still leaving her very fatigued and causing a lot of joint pain. So, thanks to her for volunteering her modelling expertise!

The original ‘Hounds Of Love’ album cover photographer was Kate Bush’s brother, John Carder Bush.
