Prism

A murky day, we've been in the moist cloud and it's stifling.

Himself still feeling grotty and confined to upstairs, me still negative and downstairs.
I had to take the car in for a service this morning and caught the 9.15 back to Ahakista - a bus! This is a new local service which starts rather unbelievably at Dursey Island on the very tip of the Beara Peninsula and rattles along to Castletownbere, Bantry, Durrus, Ahakista and ending up in Kilcrohane. It goes four times a day and with cunning timing I was able to catch the 4.45 back to Durrus and collect the car from Jim's.  Dursey is obvioulsy where it all begins for there's a long distance trail that starts here too - and ends up rather impressively in Istanbul! It's the E8 - 4700km!! The Irish section, which ends up in Dublin, is a moderate 600km! Just in case you were tempted: .. After Ireland it crosses the Irish Sea into the United Kingdom, where it follows part of the Trans Pennine Trail. After crossing the North Sea, it passes through the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and finally reaching Turkey. Some of the eastern sections of the route are yet to be finalised. Hmm, don't get stuck in the east then.

The prism seems to fit today's TT challenge and always casts pretty rainbows on the downstairs' loo door.

And more fame!
