Brandenburg Gate

The 3am wake up call came as a shock but we were at our apartment in Berlin by 10.30 local time.

Excellent brunch at the nearby bike cafe was followed by a wander to the Brandenberg Gate, a bus tour, a visit to the East Side Gallery on the longest surviving bit of the Berlin Wall, then a very German dinner with appropriate beer accompaniment.

Time for bed.
